Even though May is a bit late for ‘Best of 2025’ posts, these photos need to be seen and I wanted to continue the tradition of sharing some of my favourite London Ontario Family Photos from 2025. Every year I look back through the sessions Clara and I photographed, and it always reminds me how special it is to capture families through all of life’s stages. From tiny newborns and growing toddlers to grandparents surrounded by generations of loved ones, family photography tells the story of connection, love, and memories that deserve to be preserved.

Below you’ll see some of my favourite moments captured throughout 2025 from a variety of family photography sessions in and around London, Ontario. We photograph many different types of family sessions, each designed to fit the unique needs of every family.

Our extended family sessions are typically one hour long and include a wide variety of groupings and combinations. These sessions are perfect for capturing grandparents with grandchildren, sibling photos, cousins together, and individual family units all in one session. Extended family photography sessions are especially meaningful because they document generations together and create photographs that become treasured keepsakes for years to come.

We also offer immediate family photography sessions in London Ontario. These sessions can be booked as a full one-hour session at a location of your choice, whether that’s a local park, beach, downtown setting, or even your own home. We love helping families choose locations that reflect their personalities and create a relaxed atmosphere where genuine moments can happen naturally.

For families looking for something shorter, we also offer mini family photo sessions throughout the year. These are typically 20-minute sessions built around a specific season or theme, such as fall colours, spring blossoms, Christmas tree farms, or . Mini sessions are a great option for updating family portraits each year while keeping things fun and simple for little ones.

The images featured in this blog come from many different types of sessions throughout the year. Some were captured as part of a baby’s first-year milestone package, including six-month milestone sessions and cake smash celebrations. Others were photographed during outdoor family sessions in every season, from snowy winter landscapes to warm golden summer evenings. Some sessions took place in our studio, while many others were photographed outdoors at beautiful locations around London Ontario and surrounding areas.

Looking back through these photographs brings back so many wonderful memories for me, and I hope these images continue to do the same for the families featured here for many years to come. One of my favourite parts of being a family photographer in London Ontario is getting to watch families grow over time. Seeing returning clients year after year, watching little ones grow taller, personalities develop, and families expand is something I never take for granted.

I am truly grateful to every family who trusted Clara and myself to capture these precious moments. Choosing a photographer is such a personal decision, and it means the world to us when families invite us into these important seasons of life.

Our approach to family photography in London Ontario is timeless, candid, and fun. We always make sure to capture those classic smiling-at-the-camera portraits that grandparents love, but we also focus heavily on creating natural interactions and genuine emotion. Rather than stiff posing, we use prompts and playful movement to encourage real connection between family members. This helps us capture authentic smiles, laughter, cuddles, and all of the little in-between moments that truly tell your family’s story.

We especially pride ourselves on getting real smiles from children instead of the forced “cheese” smile. Kids are happiest when they’re allowed to play, interact, and simply be themselves, and those genuine moments always create the most meaningful photographs.
