I always love visiting new locations for portrait sessions and weddings and Jessica & Cameron’s engagement session had the perfect location for the beautiful fall foliage and for the personal connection. So many fun shots of them here letting their fun personalities into their photographs. Looking forward to photographing their wedding today at the Hessland!

Tell us the story of how the two of you met.
We met up in Bayfield while playing a friendly game of volleyball at the campground during the May 2 4 weekend in 2013.
What were your first thoughts on seeing each other?
Cameron was intrigued by Jessica and loved how relaxed and laid back she was. Jessica knew she wanted to get to know Cameron more and found him on Facebook after the weekend had ended. We are both sporty people and Jessica loves Cameron’s blue eyes.
Tell me the proposal story (the long version is fine)
3 years later Cameron decided that while we were camping in bayfield on the May 2 4 weekend he would propose while he was fishing. We were surrounded by our loved ones when he asked the question. He acted like he needed to change his bait and choose the right one to catch the fish, that’s when he asked the question and Jessica said YES!
What is your favourite memory together (other than those mentioned above)?
September 2015 we had welcomed our first son together. That was a big milestone in our lives.
What do you love most about each other?
Cameron loves how relaxed and laid back Jessica is. He loves that she takes care of the household shopping and things we need for our son. She is a great mother to our son.
Jessica loves Cameron’s blue eyes and how athletic he is as well as being a great father to Tye, our son.
How do you hope your friends and family see your wedding?
Relaxed, laid back, welcoming and romantic while having some fun! No stress and a huge step in our relationship.
