Fall wedding photography Elmhurst Inn

Here’s another lovely wedding that didn’t make it to the blog yet, Nicole and Aaron’s Fall wedding photography Elmhurst Inn. This wedding I photographed by myself and as they were both getting ready at the Comfort Inn & Suites Ingersoll it was easy for me to photograph Aaron then go over to Nicole’s suite. They were just the sweetest couple and I was a little bit starstruck when I found out that Nicole was one of the Paw Patrol animators! I was  fired up (see what I did there) to capture so many thoughtful medieval details, we were on a roll with the horse and carriage and capturing all the sweet moments with the moms as flower girls, and emotions from the couple makes my heart take to the Skye! Their ceremony was in the valley with the perfect backdrop for their theme with the black gazebo and after family photos, wedding party and couple photos their reception was in the Carriage House.

  • Aaron was working at a factory in Stratford. Nicole started at the same factory in the spring of 2016 before starting at Humber College in the fall. We hit it off right away. We often got a finger wagging from our Lead Hand for not being at our assigned spots and chatting all the time. Our first date was at the Palisade, Bowling in London, Ontario on July 2, 2016. The rest is history.
  • Aaron planned a picnic dinner at Toogood Pond Park in Unionville, Markham, Ontario. We spent the first few hours in daylight fishing, enjoying dinner. With no luck fishing, and day quickly turning to night, Aaron laid out a picnic blanket, lit some candles, some anti-bug lanterns and put on some music. We shared a heartfelt moment together in darkness, watching the stars and the water. Nicole turned to face Aaron to find him presenting the engagement ring. Three sobs of happiness later, she said yes.
  • Don’t get too many opinions! Its your day! Make a list of all the things that need to be done EARLY and pick them off one month at a time. My biggest grace is doing 90% of the planning 6-8 months before the wedding so the weeks leading up to the wedding aren’t so overwhelming.
