Wonderland Gardens Fall Engagement Photos

Today is Brittany and Mike’s wedding at Westhaven and Clara and I can’t wait to photograph it! Here are a few from their Wonderland Gardens Fall Engagement Photos with their dog and some fun maple leafs shots to make their session more personal. Now is the perfect time to book your fall engagement session!

  • Erin first caught our attention when we did our venue tour and had a chance to go through her photo book of the venue. When we chose West Haven as our wedding venue, we really appreciated that she has photographed at our venue before and created such stunning moments. We really liked her photography style and how she edited in a way that the photos wouldn’t age over time. I also really appreciated Erin’s reference of “Friends” on her website in describing how she would make us feel comfortable.
  • Mike and I met through a mutual friend of ours, now our best man, on my birthday at Molly Blooms in 2014.
  • I thought Mike had nice deep blue eyes, and he was quite shy but was really nice to talk to. I thought Britt had a great smile and personality, super easy to talk with even though we had never met before
  • We had quite the COVID proposal. I was at work all day, Mike and my brother spent the day at home decorating the house. I ended up staying an hour late at work and didn’t get home til after 9:30pm. All I knew was that Mike had made my favourite dinner, butternut squash ravioli. And he refused to eat his dinner without me, no matter how many times I insisted even though I was getting home so late. When I got home, my brother met me outside and gave me directions to go into our powder room and change into clothes Mike had picked out. When I came out, our staircase was completely transformed with lights and photos leading all the way up to our bedroom. There I found Mike and he went down on one knee. It was an immediate “yes” from me, and then we went downstairs where Beau was waiting for us, and we had champagne and finally the ravioli while we called our family and friends.
  • We have so many over the last 8 years of being together. We have a lot of firsts together, like Mike taking me to my first Blue Jays game, to our first time travelling to Cuba together where we drove speedboats through mangroves. We’ve also had many laughs together, and some of our favourite moments are ones where we ended up in tears from laughing, or just quiet nights watching our shows on the couch, cuddled up together with our dog.
  • What I love most about Brittney is how selfless she is and how she will put everyone ahead of herself to ensure they are looked after and made happy. What I love most about Mike is how reliable he is, and he is always willing to go out of his way to help people.
  • As one of the first big get-togethers after COVID, we hope our friends and family see our wedding as an opportunity to celebrate being able to be together once again and catch up on all the missed milestones.
  • Wherever we have remaining wall space!
