The Pinery Engagement photography

I have known Julie for a long time now and so glad that she has found a wonderful guy and I get to capture their big day this weekend! Here are The Pinery Engagement photography session shots from their engagement session last fall.

  • You’ve been my go to photographer since our family and pet session years ago. We love your timeless style that we will be able to appreciate for years to come. We appreciate how much you pay attention to detail and position us (or our hair lol) perfectly. We love your positive energy and bright personality.
  • We met at Julie’s cousin’s wedding. Julie’s cousin married James’s best friend. Little did James know he was meeting the whole family on the first day of meeting (and they were watching his every move). Julie and James were put at the same table for dinner. Julie waited til most people were seated at their table and chose a seat so that James would have no choice but to sit beside her at dinner. They danced all night together as Julie fed James all the shots she didn’t want and the rest is history. To this day James still finishes Julie’s food and drinks that she’s done with or doesn’t want.
  • Julie thought James was her cousin’s date since she saw them standing together and talking. She was pleasantly surprised to find out that he was in fact not her cousin’s date and appeared to be there alone since she thought he was a handsome dude. James also though julie was a looker herself and wondered if she was single and if so, how would he get her number.
  • James and Julie had a day planned at the pinery, one of our favourite parks in the area. Julie loves boardwalks and water. Julie was taking a picture of the beautiful scenery on a hike and when she turned around James was on one knee and asked her to marry him. Julie spent the rest of the hike tripping on tree roots cause she couldn’t take her eyes off the sparkle on her finger.
  • We both thought of our first Florida trip together. We’ve been on quite a few trips but this one was a favourite. We stayed with Julie’s aunt in Tampa and then went to her grandparents in Fort Myers. It was relaxing, fun, full of laughs and some nice exploring. Julie’s grandparents are big role models in our lives and we see a lot of us in them.
  • Our bond and how it continues to grow the more we experience together in life. Our ability to laugh at ridiculous jokes that no one else finds funny but us.
  • A fun, carefree, beautiful celebration full of love and laughter.
  • Yes. We have a spot cleared out in our hallway and I (Julie) already bought various sizes of frames to create a sort of wedding collage.
