Clara photographed Nadia & Marcus’ big day right around a year ago and here is their album of Wedding Photography Brookside Banquet Centre

  • Love the casual style – capturing the day without being too uptight! Also, awesome wedding packages!
  • We have a mutual friend who is a dog trainer. She has no problems coming up to people that (she thinks) need help or advice about their dogs! Once such person was Marco- he was in my pet store 4 years ago, trying to find an appropriate food for his newly adopted bully/boxer/mastiff pup (Mira, our baby!) Our friend struck up a conversation with him about foods, etc, which she then pulled me into to get my opinions. From there, Marco and our friend set up a dog training session for Mira and that was that, for the time being. After that, whenever I talked to our friend, she always had something to say about Marco – “he’s single, has a lovely house, has his own business, oh his dog is so cute….” and I know she texted him pictures of some baking I had given her on at least one occasion! She kept asking if she could give him my number, which I eventually agreed to…and now here we are!
  • Her: “Geez his hands are dirty!” (Being in trades, Marco gets a lot of oil buildup in his hands that does not come out very easily!) Him: WOW…..cute, extremely intelligent, good family values, and she can bake!? She’s a keeper for sure!
  • Well I (Nadia) knew it was coming, but he did a great job at keeping it a surprise! I had a feeling it might come on my 30th birthday (October 14th last year) , as we had planned to take off to Niagara for the weekend – my birthday happened to fall on Thanksgiving. So I had an idea that it might happen then. Much to my surprise, I got home late after work on the Thursday night before to find the kitchen blocked off in our house, a path to the dining room strewn with rose petals, and a romantic dinner setting in place. He also employed our pup to do the actual proposing- he had made her a sign to wear reading “Will you marry my daddy?” (knowing full well that I could in no way say “No” to that!) I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal!
  • Her: Travel together, experiencing great food together, NOT going anywhere on a Friday or Saturday night and just staying in a relaxing, tackling projects together Him: Ditto 100%!!
  • He is always willing to help out friends and family, regardless of what the need is. He takes no sh*t and will not give up on something he is passionate about. When I have a problem, he always supports me and helps me through it if he can. I know he also loves my awesome puns and my ability to do accents! ? (Insert eye roll from Marco here!) She is an old soul with amazing life values. She is always there to support me and my family ( and I wouldnt be surprised if my family like her more than me ?). Also, I couldn’t imagine having a better partner to get through this crazy world with!! And she can bake!
  • Well it will be a much more intimate affair than previously planned, thanks to COVID. However, this way, we will get to have more interaction with our family and friends. Because of that I hope our guests are able to witness just how happy and whole we are as a couple- how well we compliment each other. Not to mention we will be able to do more celebrating with those closest to us!
