Backyard Wedding Photography, Lucan Ontario

Clara photographed Laura & Lee’s backyard wedding almost 1 year ago! The day started with the girls getting ready at home, then first look and wedding party (including their doggo) and couple photos in St Marys, then back to their Backyard Wedding Photography, Lucan Ontario. Many weddings last year changed from a venue to a backyard and we love photographing these types of weddings and they are always relaxed and we still are able to photograph the full day right from getting ready through to the creative night photos.

• Tell us the story of how the two of you met.
  Lee and I met in 2014 at a mutual friend’s party, we started talking that night and have been together ever since!
• Tell me the proposal story (the long version is fine)
  Lee and I went to Chicago last year for my birthday. I was already excited about seeing Hamilton and visiting a cool new city so I wasn’t expecting it. He asked me before we went to dinner on our first night. I was surprised to learn that a few days before we left, when he told me he was working late one night, he was instead driving 2.5 hours (one way) to see my parents and get their blessing before we went to Chicago.
• How do you hope your friends and family see your wedding?
  Given everything that’s happened this year, I hope it’s a fun and laid-back event for everyone to hang out and have a good time. The ceremony will be short & sweet, we’ll have lawn games, and good food & music.
