Caradoc Sands Wedding Photography

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to blog Emily & Steve’s Caradoc Sands Wedding Photography. It was one of my favourites from 2018! I was pretty heavily pregnant with Nora by this stage and I remember it just being such an easy and lovely wedding to photograph! I started the day with the guys getting ready at home, then headed to a nearby park to get some shots of them. It was then to the getting ready suite at Caradoc Sands Golf Club in Strathroy for Emily and the girls getting ready. Her first look with her dad was super sweet and we then did some shots of her with her bridesmaids. The outdoor ceremony space overlooking the water feature was just gorgeous, this is one of the reasons that Caradoc Sands is on of my favourite venues to photograph at! After the ceremony and family photos we headed off on the golf carts to get some gorgeous golden hour shots of the wedding party and couple, then headed back for the reception. We had the most wonderful sunset and it was so gorgeous to photograph them with it!

  • Online (Thanks Match.com! hahah) We chatted online for a couple months before deciding to meet. We chose a coffee shop, and ended up talking for 2.5-3 hours. The conversation was good, and he was so easy to talk to.
  • He was definitely cute! 🙂 He made me laugh– a key quality, and made me feel comfortable right away. Conversation with him was easy and flowed nicely. -Emily Such a natural beauty. She carried herself as a strong, independent person, with a good head on her shoulders, and strong values. She had me instantly hooked on her! -Steve
  • I had no idea it was coming. He totally surprised me, which was the best! We had both been working a lot, and he suggested a little getaway to Niagara Falls to relax and spend some time together. He booked the hotel, and planned the entire 3 days. We went out for dinner on the first night to the revolving restaurant in the Skylon Tower. After dinner, when the revolution had made it back to the falls, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
  • Our vacation to the Dominican Republic. Steve’s first vacation. I love to travel, it’s a priority. I’ve been to quite a few places, and can’t wait to continue travelling and making memories with him by my side.
  • I love that he makes me laugh every single day!, and reminds me not sweat the small stuff. I love how hardworking he is and how special he makes me feel. -Emily Her smile! And the love she gives to the people who are close to her. -Steve
  • As lots of fun.. a great party!
  • Probably living room, rec room and bedroom.
  • You were recommended to us by Alicia from Caradoc Sands. I checked out your website and loved your work. I also realized you had photographed a friend of my sister’s wedding, and the photos were beautiful. We’re so excited to have you for our day!
