Delhi Ontario Wedding Photography

Usually I post blogs around the couple’s 1st wedding anniversary. However, I’m really hoping to be able to edit photographs faster and get each couples’ blog up within a few months of the wedding. I’m happy to be posting one like this just over a month since their wedding. I also made a sneak peek behind the scenes video which you can see here.

When Breanne & Daniel booked with me during the 2nd lockdown for their March 19 2021 wedding, honestly I thought that we would still be locked down. Or, at least, weddings of 50 people in Delhi Ontario Wedding Photography wouldn’t be going ahead. Thankfully, after the 2nd lockdown the cases were quite low when their big day came. Especially in their small town of Norwich, Ontario.

The Day

The day started with me capturing Breanne and her Maid of Honour getting ready at the couples new home. Then I headed to the grooms parents house for a couple of shots of Daniel & his best man getting ready. The ceremony was held at Heritage Reformed Congregation in Burgessville and I loved capturing the emotion, especially of her siblings!

After the ceremony we headed to the grooms family farms and I had way too much fun getting in the cow pen to get some shots. We stopped by the brides great grandma’s nursing home and I loved the shot of them waving through the window to her.

The reception was held at Delhi German Home. The venue handled all the covid restrictions well, and the food was honestly so delicious- I think the fact that I usually don’t eat carbs at dinner and that it had been so long since a wedding meal also added to it! The guests all had a great time even without any dancing, the show game was a hit! The speeches were very heartfelt and I loved sneaking out for golden hour and night photos.
