Norwich Ontario Wedding Photography

Over a year ago Clara and I photographed Alexandra and Justin’s big day and just a month ago we had the pleasure of photographing her little brothers wedding, it is always such a great compliment when we get referred to friends and family! The day started with each of them getting ready then their dutch reform ceremony at netherlands reformed congregration in Norwich. Afterwards we headed to a farm for the family photos and some of the wedding party and couple. We had plenty of time so we also went to a few other locations for more of the wedding party and couple. The reception was held at the Otterville Mill, check out their full wedding album below!

Alexandra’s advice for engaged couples-
My advice would be to stay calm and know what you want as everyone’s opinions can be overwhelming. Don’t wait until last minute to do what you need. Most important, remember that this day is about your love for each other. Wedding planning is stressful but you cannot lose sight of why you are doing all of this.

  • We have always been friends and our families are friends. Justin is one year older than me so we went to the same school/high school together. We dated when I was younger, grade 8-9, but it didnt last since we were too immature. We’ve always had a ‘thing’ for each other though. He was literally “the boy next door” 🙂 he asked me out one night after a night at the bar since it was a mutual friends of ours birthday. We have known each other and been in love forever.
  • Nice eyes 🙂
  • Well, We had to run some errands for Justins business in Toronto so we decided to go on a beautiful hike afterwards on Mnt. Nemo. I was sweaty and hungry afterwards so we got some ice cream at dairy queen and Justin insisted on a sunset hike before we went home. At the lookout over Hamilton at sunset Justin stood behind me and I could feel his heart pounding. He then took out a ring and asked me to be Mrs. Berman. I turned around and said “are you kidding me?!!” Several times. Justin was flustered and stated that it was not a fake ring. So I said yes!! And are you serious?!! A few more times. Then we walked back. On our way home we picked a wedding date and waited to tell our parents and friends until we saw them that night.
  • I have two most favorite memories. One would be the first time we dated in high school. Justin was shy and we went to Canadas wonderland with his sister even though he didnt dare go on half the rides. It was also the first time he asked me to hold hands. He won a massive blue monkey for me which I never threw away and have in my room even today. The next memory would be when we decided to drive to the Frdnch River together for Thanksgiving. We didnt tell our parents until we got to his friends trailer on the river. We spent the weekend there. This was the first time we spent the night together even though it was in a trailer with his friends.
  • I love justins cheezy sense of humor, his bright blue eyes and curly hair! I also live justins motivation to work and his sense of adventure. I love Alexandras chubby chipmunk cheeks and her eyes. I love Alexs ability to make the best of every situation, gentle kindness and her laugh.
  • I hope they see it as a relaxed environment and have fun. I want it to be sophisticated country style and most of all, i want everyone to have fun.
  • Yes, i am going to put in a tall glass pantry style cabinet in the room between the kitchen and living room full of framed photographs from our wedding. I also would like a big picture canvas above our head board in the bedroom.
  • I chose you because I heard good reviews from other people and it was affordable. Once meeting you I loved your portfolio and wedding albums. You were nice, polite, accommodating and professional. So I finalized the deal right there without meeting any other photographers.
