Backyard wedding photographer
Tammy and Jerry were married on a warm southwestern ontario day last summer. They are both from here but now living out west so I completely related to what they went through with planning their wedding as it was similar to how we planned ours. Tammy’s parents amazing backyard was the backdrop for there first look, couple and wedding party photos and the ceremony. It was such a great location I even told them that they should rent it out for weddings! I loved that Tammy made the decision to not wear makeup, do what feels right to you!
- Jerry and I worked at the same family restaurant. Jerry worked as a cook and I worked as a waitress. We were friends for a long time at work before we started dating.
- Since we now live in Calgary when we go back to Ontario we like to stop in to the restaurant to say hi to staff that we used to work with. We picked a Sunday morning to go for breakfast and inside the menu were photos of us since we had been dating and a paper that said the date when we started dating, also the date that he was proposing on and the date we had decided that we would like to get married on the following year. After breakfast we went back to his parents house and his family and my parents were all there waiting to have a bbq together.
- We love that we can talk freely to each other about anything and each other’s sense of humour.
- I would like to hang photos of our wedding in our bedroom and the living room.
