Hanson themed engagement photography Tulsa Oklahoma

It is no secret that my favourite band is Hanson. Their amazing music, the nostalgia, and one of the things I love most about any Hanson event is the people you meet. Tulsa is to me what Graceland is to an Elvis fan and back in May I, along with 1500+ Hanson fans (fansons) headed to Hanson Day. This weekend is filled with Hanson events including Karaoke with Issac, Hansonopoly tournament with Zac and an after party with Taylor. The weekend ends with a beer festival which Hanson founded, The Hop Jam, where Beer + Music fans come from all over to try mmmhops, Hanson’s beer and many other types of beer from other micro breweries. During the weekend the fans also enjoy checking out the sights of Tulsa, a few of which are included in this engagement session. I met Matt and Toni back in 2014 at Hanson Day and since then we have been facebook friends and met up at Back to the Island which is a 5 day long Hanson concert series at an all inclusive in Jamaica. Ever since I saw their announcement of their engagement and knew we would all be heading to Hanson Day 2017- the 25th anniversary of Hanson as a band and 20 years since mmmbop and the Middle of Nowhere album, I knew it was the perfect time to capture a few Hanson themed engagement photos. Here you’ll see having some fun at a ‘bus stop’ with yellow walkie talkies, checking each other out at 3 car garage (Hanson’s studio), reach out for my hand with the street art and outside Cains Ballroom- a concert hall where Hanson play when they are performing in Tulsa. I hope these two never let go of each other and I’ll be thinking of you for your big day in a little under a year, dance like you dont care!
