Couple Photography London Ontario

Sometimes engagement sessions aren’t engagement sessions at all, like this couple shoot which was photographed by the harbour in Halifax, NS.

The lovely lady in these photos is a dear friend from art school, but this shoot really allowed me to get to know her partner and them as a couple, while shooting in a different location. So what is my second reason for doing couple/engagement photos? They’re fun! They allow me to get creative without a tight timeframe like the wedding day, so they are a lot more stress free and can be something else to look forward to when the big day might seem like a long time to wait for. It’s fun to be able to swap stories and chat about hope preparations for the wedding day are going and I’ve heard multiple times that doing the engagement photos have but a spark of fun back into the planning process!
