Elmhurst Ingersoll Wedding Photography
Martin and Lucy’s big day at Elmhurst Ingersoll Wedding Photography was captured by Clara and second shooter Lindsay. Clara started at Lucy’s home and the traditional colourful fabric coving the ground for her getting ready to leave her home was meaningful and looked gorgeous in photographs. The ceremony was truly special as the couple shared their first ever kiss! Their love of god was present throughout the day and they were lucky to have gorgeous golden light in their couple photographs.
The album below was printed in a large size with a metal cover so that they could have it sitting up on a shelf with one of their favorite images on the cover to be able to look at year-round, then when they have guests or they want to relive the story of their day they can take down the album and view their selected favourite images from throughout their big day.
- When looking at all the photographers, we were looking for 3 factors, can they take good shots of a Caucasian and Black couple, the ability to do distance and close ups and finally the pictures that look like your in a movie or a fairy tale. Woodgate Photography literally hit a homerun on every aspect of our personal checklist.
- We met on Match.com
- I thought she was absolutely stunning and she thought I was quite handsome.
- I had been teasing her for weeks that I could propose at any given time. On Thursday, April 28th I had convinced her I was out of town but was secretly plotting to propose. When she had gotten home from work I ran over to her porch and delivered a huge potted plant with the message, “WILL”, I rang the doorbell and hid behind the garage. A minute later I dropped of another plant with the message, “YOU”, and escaped again. Finally the third time I rang the doorbell, she had found me on one knee, finishing the message to my question., “MARRY ME”. She said YES
- Our favorite memories are hiking together as we learned more about each other.
