Magnolia trees London Ontario engagement

Tomorrow we will be photographing Katelyn and Dave’s big day and I’m excited to share their Magnolia trees London Ontario engagement session photographed in May last year. It was a weird bloom in that they bloomed early, but then stayed for quite awhile as we had mild, rainy weather. All told, it made for the perfect backdrop for Katelyn and Dave’s engagement session. I love their active pup being included in their session and the fun shot with the Jerseys was when he checked the Leafs score in the playoffs!

• Tell us the story of how the two of you met.
  We met on tinder!
• What were your first thoughts on seeing each other?
  Not necessarily seeing each other, but Dave hated me after the first date hahahah I was not feeling well, but had already rescheduled on him once so I knew I couldn’t do it a second time. In his words “she was awful” hahah but his friend convinced him to give me a second shot, and thank goodness!
• Tell me the proposal story (the long version is fine)
  We had a party for my 30th birthday and all day long he told me that there was someone special coming. Once everyone was there he said that the special person was there and I needed to stand at the top of the stairs and wait for them with my back to the door, he went outside, came back in and when I turned around he was on one knee!
• What is your favourite memory together (other than those mentioned above)?
  Florida trips to Marco island
• How do you hope your friends and family see your wedding?
  Fun! We are there to have a big party to celebrate love, so we hope everyone has a great time!
• Have you thought of anywhere in your house you would like to hang your wedding photographs?
  Bedroom, stair case.
• What are your wedding colours?
  Malibu blue, accents of white yellow and pink.
