Westminster Ponds engagement session
Today is the last wedding of the ‘season’ (we still have one more in December) and I’m so excited to photograph and Lori will be Videographing Haley and Allen’s big day today at Westhaven. Here are their favourites from their Westminster Ponds engagement session.
- When researching I found many photographers were into doing affects or changing the colour of the pictures to look aged. What I loved about your portfolio was the pictures were using true colours. When we met in person you were very welcoming and easy to talk to which made us feel comfortable proceeding with you as our photographer.
- We met because we both attended the 10 day living with the land course through laurentian university.
- Allen thought Haley was cute and shy. Haley thought Allen was friendly and welcoming
- Went camping at Elora gorge for a week. Every night Allen planned a new way to propose, but something always got in the way of the moment. On the second last night we went tubing on the river and Haley wanted to stop for pictures. The ring was in Allen’s life jacket and he pulled out the ring after the pictures were taken before the continued down the river. Holding the ring, he simply asked “will you marry me”. After saying “yes”, Haley handed the ring back to Allen because she was afraid to lose the ring in the water.
- Allen’s favourite memory with Haley was baking cookies together and when Haley tried to open the baking powder it exploded all over her and the kitchen. Haley’s favourite memory is when Allen took her to do archery in the bush. Allen told her that she couldn’t hit the target and she hit it (to her disbelief)
- Allen loves Haley’s smile and goofiness Haley loves how allen “thinks” he is funny
- Fun and enjoyable
- Living room and bedroom
