Julie & James’ 1st anniversary was on Monday and I’ve very excited to share their big day at various locations in St Thomas ON Wedding Photography of their big album on the blog! I first photographed Julie with her dog 8 years ago and It is always a pleasure! It was great getting to know James some more at their Pinery Engagement Session.
They had to reschedule and re-plan including multiple venue changes quite a few times, 2020/21 was hard yall but wonderful clients who consulted with us to make sure we were still available for their new dates made it much easier! On the day everything was perfect! I started with some getting ready shots at the couple’s home of Julies side and then headed to capture the grooms side getting ready at the comfort inn in st Thomas. We then were back to their house where Clara joined us for the first look. We then headed to Pinafore park for Wedding party and couple photos. Ash and her team from Black dog weddings really helped with the couples 3 rescue doggos. We then headed to the Rose Chapel for their ceremony with amazing fall decor by Time 4 Flowers. I loved how real they were and how comfortable they were to show all emotions with their closest friends and family there. After the family photos we headed to their reception at the Canadian Albanian Club in St Thomas. The reception venue wasn’t their first choice, they had wanted a barn venue, but I think it worked perfectly with their decor, had nice lighting and everyone still had a very fun time. Their blog wouldn’t be complete without me drooling about the AMAZING cake that Jame’s sister made. I seriously have asked the couple to tell me when I can order one from her when she is coming to town next!
