Engagement session with dog London Ontario

Carly and Derek are getting married today at one of our favourite venues, Caradoc Sands and so I thought I would share a selection of their Engagement session with dog London Ontario photographed by Clara last fall. 

• Tell us the story of how the two of you met.
  Derek and I met on a beach outing with friends.
• What were your first thoughts on seeing each other?
  We liked each other right away
• Tell me the proposal story (the long version is fine)
  On my birthday, Derek took my for a hike at the Long Woods Conservation area. It was just us and the dog! He found a little dock on a pond and gave me my “birthday card” the last line of the card said “I can’t wait to not call you my girlfriend anymore” and when I looked back at him, he was on his knee with a ring. It was perfect and I will forever cherish the note he gave me. We go for lots of hikes and often go and visit “our spot”
• What is your favourite memory together (other than those mentioned above)?
  We have so many! We have climbed mountains together, gone camping, countless hikes. He bought us a tandem bicycle that we often go exploring on. Our favourite anniversary date is going to the Drive in Movie.
• What do you love most about each other?
  Our kindness and generosity for our friends and family.
• How do you hope your friends and family see your wedding?
  In person. Photos- colourful, in the garden. laughing/ having fun.
• Have you thought of anywhere in your house you would like to hang your wedding photographs?
  yes, we have started a gallery wall and I would like some photos for our bedroom.
• Why did you choose us?
  My friend recommended you.
• What are your wedding colours?
  sage green, dusty pink, and blue
