I’m excited to photograph Kaitlyn and Nic’s wedding today! They wanted their engagement photos to be romantic, candid but also edgy and I was more than happy to use the graffiti downtown and some cool lighting effects at the park, as well as varied posing to get that look. Just loved their pup that they brought to the session!

  • We met through mutual friends at a house party in high school
  • Nic thought I was being annoying because I was complaining about a burn I got on my finger …. but he still held my hand and walked me home that night 😉
  • Nic asked for my dads blessing on a fishing trip they were on back in September 2018, but it took Nic 5 months to work up the courage to actually ask me so my parents patiently waited all fall, past Christmas, past Valentine’s Day until finally on February 20, 2018 Nic proposed while on a trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican. Before we left, all my friends were telling me that he was going to propose but I didn’t really think anything of it. Although admittedly I did pay extra attention to any suggestion of getting dressed up, going out for dinner, etc. Instead he proposed in the middle of the day, in our bathing suits, fresh out of the pool. The first thing I said (after yes of course) was “I’m not even wearing any pants!!” Haha
  • Our favourite memory by far is getting our dog, Slim. We spend hours just playing with him and laughing at his crazy antics.
  • Kaitlyn: I love Nic’s sense of humour, I admire how hard working he is, and his ability to make friends with just about anyone. We are complete opposites in most cases, but I think we just work together. Nic: I love Kaitlyn’s warm heart and that she always knows how to make me feel happy when skies are grey Kaitlyn: (I think he stole that line from a song)
  • We really want everyone to eat, drink, dance and have a great time! We hope all of our loved ones see how much genuine love we have for each other and for all our friends and family celebrating with us.
  • We just bought a new house so we have lots of bare walls as options! Kaitlyn: I would love have a photo to hang on our exposed brick wall in the front entrance Nic: wants a photo for the hallway leading towards the bedrooms
