Hope everyone is having a lovely Canada Day and I’m looking forward to going to do an Awesome Senior Portrait Day tomorrow at the McKormick home. These portraits were taken of some lovely ladies at the Chelsey home with hair by Amanda and Makeup my Elfriede and Shealee.
I had a bit of a chat to Helen while she was waiting for her turn to be pampered and found out that she used to work for Estee Lauder in ‘Simpsons’ which I know to be Sears. She told me while I was taking her portrait that the pampering had made her feel special.
It just so happened to be Patricia’s birthday on the day we visited the Chelsey and with her Cockney accent we chatted about where she was from (East London) and about how it’s disappointing that people don’t get dressed up anymore like they used to to go out dancing.
I didn’t get a chance to talk to Phil very much but I asked for what she thought a good bit of wisdom would be for someone my age and she said that ‘If you have a good marriage hold on to him’ and explained that she had a good one and was married for 55 years.
