Engagement session Springbank Park

So I guess my New Years resolution of catching up on blog posts has been well and truly broken but I just had to post this perfect couple’s engagement session as it is their 1st anniversary today! (I’ll post their wedding later this week). Their engagement session was captured on a beautiful golden late October fall day at Springbank Park in London Ontario. I had met Dave a few years back and I was so glad to meet Kim, his truly beautiful inside and out new fiance. We started with using a chair that I had rented from Lilylane Decor and Design and we had fun playing with the sunset and capturing this important time in their lives.

When choosing a location for their engagement session we wanted it to be somewhere comfortable, which still had some good fall colours on the trees and the couple actually went for a romantic walk a few days before the session to check that this spot was going to work for their session and I think it worked beautifully with the variety of the field, interesting steps/wooden structure, water, tall grass, fallen leaves on the ground, the swings, gazebo, bridge and rustic fence!
