Best Wedding Photography London Ontario

To kick off the new year, I’m continuing the tradition of putting together a series of blogs featuring some of my favourite images captured by the Woodgate Photography team. This post highlights some of our Best Wedding Photography London Ontario 2025 weddings.

As a team specializing in Wedding Photography in London Ontario, we had the pleasure of photographing 22 amazing couples in 2025. Many of our couples also added wedding videography to their packages, and we had a few stand-alone video clients as well.

In 2025, we photographed weddings across London Ontario and Southwestern Ontario, and we had the opportunity to work at several beautiful venues that were new to us including Cranberry Creek Gardens, la petite chapelle and The Timber Barn. A venue we photographed at several times this year was the beautiful Elmhurst Inn & Spa, which continues to be one of our favourite wedding venues near London Ontario.

It was incredibly difficult to narrow these weddings down to just a few images from each gallery, especially when most couples receive 1000+ photographs from their wedding day. Our goal with every couple is to create a mix of fun, romantic, candid, and timeless wedding portraits that truly reflect the couple and their relationship.

During your portrait time, we guide you into natural poses so you know where to stand and what to do, but we also use prompts to create genuine interactions and natural moments. This approach helps couples feel comfortable in front of the camera and results in photographs that look candid, even though they are directed. As experienced London Ontario wedding photographers, we also work quickly and efficiently so you can enjoy your wedding day rather than feeling like you are stuck taking photos.

While posed couple portraits are always important, I’ll also be sharing upcoming blog posts featuring candid storytelling moments and wedding party photos, which often end up being some of my personal favourite images from the day.

One thing that makes our approach different is that we don’t limit the number of images we edit. Instead, we deliver however many photographs are needed to fully tell the story of your wedding day. Our editing style features punchy, true-to-life colours, and every gallery also includes a selection of images in different tones including black and white.

In the images below, you’ll see a variety of photographs that reflect our tagline: “Candid, Colourful, Dramatic and Timeless.” These are the kinds of images we love creating for our couples.
