Best of 2025: Engagement Photo Session London Ontario
Every year, I love starting the new season by putting together our “Best of” engagement blogs, and this year is no exception. This post highlights some of my favourite moments from an engagement photo session in London Ontario and surrounding areas that I captured throughout 2025.
These blogs take a lot of time to curate, but they’re one of my favourite ways to reflect on the incredible couples we’ve had the honour of working with. Below, you’ll see a selection of my favourite images from engagement photo sessions in London Ontario, as well as locations across Southwestern Ontario. While we captured even more sessions this year, some couples choose to keep their images private, so those photos are not included here.
Engagement Photography in London Ontario & Southwestern Ontario
The Woodgate Photography team had the pleasure of photographing all of these amazing couples. Many of them are already married, while others are planning weddings in 2026 and even 2027. It’s always so special to follow couples from their engagement photo session in London Ontario all the way through to their wedding day.
One of my favourite things about engagement photography is the variety. This year’s sessions spanned every season—
from winter sessions where we rented a studio because it was simply too cold outside, to hot summer evenings at the lavender farm, champagne-soaked celebrations, and even jumping into the waves at the beautiful Pinery beach.
Personal, Meaningful Engagement Sessions
I absolutely love when couples personalize their engagement photo session in London Ontario. This year, we included pets (dogs, cats, and even a very photogenic horse!), meaningful locations, and favourite hobbies. From cozy picnic setups with coffee and blankets to adventurous beach sessions, each engagement shoot truly reflected the couple’s story.
We always recommend choosing a location that feels sentimental—whether that’s a favourite park, a family property, or somewhere you love spending time together. In 2025, we photographed engagement sessions throughout London Ontario and across Southwestern Ontario, giving each couple a unique experience.
