Old Court House Wedding Photography London Ontario
Melissa and Jay were married at the Old Court House Wedding photography London Ontario in April 2024 and when I had asked them what their Don’t forget to have fun!” and from these photographs I hope you can see just how much fun they had!
I photographed this wedding with Clara so she went to the guys for getting ready and I photographed the girls side of the wedding party getting ready. I actually ended up sewing Melissa into her dress! (There is even a photo here of me fixing it at the reception). I love how she incorporated her personality into her accessories with the pink converse and camo garter! Getting ready fell a bit behind so the planned first look ended up getting scrapped last minute, which turned out to be perfect for them to see each other up the aisle for the first time. Their wedding officiant Jodi from Something New was wonderful and I loved capturing their emotions. After the family, wedding party and I loved getting creative and climbing up a ladder to get a unique view through the magnolia tree of them but we ran out of time for their couple photos before the reception was due to start so we decided to go out after dinner to do golden hour/sunset photos and they were perfect!!
Their speeches were great and you can see the range of emotions in these creatively lit photographs, as well as their first dance, their song was Nobody But You – Blake Shelton/Gwen Stafani.
The boquet/garter toss were fun moments to capture and their cake by Bliss cakes of London was perfect! We ended the night with some creative night photos including the purple fog which went with the colours of their wedding and a double exposure.
