Best of 2024: Wedding couples posed shots
To kick off the new year I’m continuing the tradition of putting together a series of blogs showing some of my favourite photographs the Woodgate Photography team captured in 2024 of our creative photos of our wedding couples, mostly captured in London Ontario and our most often photographed venue was the beautiful Elmhurst Inn in Ingersoll!
Our team had the pleasure of photographing 32 couples in 2024, with a bunch of them adding video, and we had a couple of stand alone video clients also.
It was hard to narrow these weddings down to just one or a couple of images. We always aim to create fun, romantic & candid photographs of each couple. We get you into a pose so that you know how to stand etc, then give you prompts to create natural moments that you will be reminded of when you look at your photographs together. We work quickly so that you don’t feel awkward wherever possible. I will be posting a candid moments and wedding party blogs in the coming weeks as the candid storytelling moments throughout the day actually end up being my favourite photographs over these posed ones.
We had the pleasure of photographing our weddings in a variety of locations throughout South Western Ontario. We don’t limit how many images we edit for our clients, just however many tell the story of the day. Our editing style gives punchy true-to-life colours, and our clients also receive a selection in different tones including black and white. You will see a mix of those shots in the slideshow below, and looking at these shots actually prompted me to change our ‘branding tagline’ to be ‘Candid, Colourful, Dramatic and Timeless’ as I think that is certainly the work that you see from us below!
We are currently booking 2025/ 2026 dates and have extended the show special of $250 off if you book both photography and videography or $250 print credit with any of our full day photography packages.
