Longwoods Engagement Photography
Excited to be off to Exeter Golf Club today to photograph Sarah and Stewart’s big day today, here are their favourite shots from their Longwoods Engagement Photography.
- A suggested vendor list from our wedding venue. Absolutely loved the photos and videos on your website and was excited to see how ours will turn out!
- We first started chatting over an app called Bumble. We met after a month of talking to each other. Our first date was in Sarah’s parents’ shop (on Sarah’s Mom’s birthday) at the beginning of COVID in 2020. That night we ended up talking for 8 hours and have been inseparable ever since.
- Stewart, “She is way out of my league.” Sarah, “Oh no…he’s so good looking! I’m in over my head.”
- August 27, 2022 at The Purple Hill Ram Rodeo on the outdoor stage… Stewart brought Sarah up on stage to sing ‘Look at You Girl’ by Chris LeDoux. With emotions and nerves running high, they both don’t quite remember the song (Stewart was trying not to fall off the stage and Sarah was trying not to fall over period). At the end of the song, Stewart started talking from the heart and the crowd went ‘Awwwe’, but when he got down on one knee as asked her to marry him the crowd went wild. After almost dropping the ring down the cracks of the stage’s wooden floor, she said ‘Yes’.
- For Sarah…My favourite memory together was sitting at the back of the runway the first summer we started dating. Driving to the back on the four-wheeler and sitting down against the tires, surrounded by freshly cut grass, a beautiful sunset, a field of soybeans around us, and the sounds of crickets and frogs in the evening air. For Stewart…Sitting in our unfinished kitchen around a card table with a few drinks, talking for half the night about anything that came to mind.
- About Stewart…He accepts me for just as I am. Through the ups and the downs, the good days and the bad days, he stands by my side. He never stands in front or behind me – we share in life’s trials and tribulations together hand in hand. He is the most considerate, compassionate, supportive, and loving partner a girl could ask for. Through it all, he is my rock. My safe place. About Sarah… I love the fact that she is honest, patient, and loyal. She has given me direction and purpose, and has supported every decision I have made. She helped me grow as a man and as an adult in general. She helped me break down my walls, and share what’s really in my heart and on my mind. I didn’t have much when we met, and she still loved me- for she could see who I could become. She then bore the yoke of walking beside me through my journey of growth and struggle, and still walks there today. I owe her my life. Everything I am now, and everything I strive to be is because of her.
- We hope that friends and family see our wedding as a time of celebration, and an opportunity to strengthen and create new bonds.
