1 year ago today I was honored to photograph Brandie & Chris’ elopement at The Studio- Unmistakably You. I had photographed Chris’ sister’s wedding a few years back and it was wonderful to get to capture the intimate family moments and styled portraits. 

Elopements are all unique and we are happy to customize a package. The photography started with Erica from Blush doing Brandie’s hair and makeup in the private getting ready space at The Studio. While they were finishing up I captured the detail shots including jumpsuit by Once Upon a Time Weddings and custom denim jacket by Something Blue Denim Co.

Brandie’s dad walked her up the aisle to where Chris saw her for the first time in The Studio gathering space. Jodi from Something New Officiants performed a modern, heartfelt and perfect ceremony including their kids in the best ways. The ceremony was followed by a champagne toast with all of their closest loved ones. 

Once the family left we photographed in a variety of the spaces inside and just outside of the building utilizing the late afternoon light and then various off camera lighting techniques.
