Goderich Engagement Photography
Today is Celina & Adam’s big day, I’m excited to photograph it at The Barn at Exeter Golf Club! I wanted to share their Goderich Engagement Photography session that we photographed back in April. We had planned to photograph it last October but kept on getting rained out, and we finally had a day in April which looked like it would be cold but sunny and as I was driving closer and closer, the sun was hiding more and more behind clouds. We made the most of it and I loved that it actually ended up snowing!
- Erin was the photographer at my dad and step moms wedding and I knew the second I saw the photos that Erin would do my wedding if I ever got married
- Adam and I initially met through a friend when I was in grade 9 and he was in grade 11. My friend really liked Adam and I really liked his friend. Well fast forward to meeting and connecting in high school, we started becoming friends due to me hanging around his friend group which consisted of my brother and people I was interested in. We started seeing each other in 2016 and his mom actually came with us on our first date to crabby joes in Strathroy! Well we broke up for about 5 years and reconnected at his dads funeral. When Adam saw me he says he thought he was seeing a ghost and his heart almost stopped and when I saw him I immediately felt at home.
- Celina – my first thought was that he was shy, timid, very cute with really nice brown eyes and a great smile and laugh. Adam – she’s so beautiful
- Two weeks before my graduation in 2021 (in the thick of Covid), I decided to do a graduation/couples/family photo shoot with Adam, his mom and his sister. We had just finished the family portion and was finishing up the couples portion before I got changed to do graduation photos. The photographer asked if there was anymore photos we wanted for the two of us and he said “well actually” and started to get down on one knee. I immediately started crying and told him I hated him for doing this right now because I had my makeup done. I even turned away from him to keep myself together but it obviously didn’t work! He was down on one knee waving a ring at me, too nervous to say anything. Little did I know, the photographer had no idea it was happening and his mom and sister convinced him that day was the time!
- Celina – my favourite memory was our first anniversary when we went to Niagara Falls together for a weekend. Adam – probably our trip to Niagara
- Celina – I absolutely adore how understanding and kind he is, his face and cute tush is just a bonus Adam – the way her attitude compliments mine
- We hope they see our wedding as a long awaited celebration of our love that has been in the works for realistically 10 years. We hope they see it as a union of families and letting go of any past and only focusing on the future together.
- Let’s be real, everywhere! Living room and bedroom are a must for me (Celina). Adam says wherever Celina wants them.
