It was just Jessica & Nick’s 1st wedding anniversary and I’m so excited to share their fall wedding photography Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club on the blog! This couple are some of the nicest people I have ever photographed and I’m so happy to be capturing their new baby’s 1st year! I knew we were going to have a lot of fun on their wedding day after their Port Burwell engagement session was amazing, the fun can even be seen in our Behind the scenes video by Lori.
The day started with me photographing Jessica and the girls getting ready at Nick’s family home and with our wonderful second shooter Jackie starting at the hotel with the guys getting ready. Last year we had an unseasonably warm start to fall so there weren’t as many trees turning colour, but it was a really nice day. It was actually the first wedding I photographed after finding out I was pregnant! Their first looks, first with her dad and then with each other were so perfect. We photographed the wedding party and couple photos then all of the emotions of the outdoor ceremony- including their active doggo who was helped by Black dog company.  After the family photos they had a few more fun shots including shotgunning beers and popping champagne. The reception wedding photography Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club was so nice inside and as it was a large space with a smaller amount of guests, they were able to dance and have a great time despite the restrictions which were in place at the time. We headed home after the fun sparkler shots, plenty of candids of the dancefloor and the creative night photos.

From the couple- The best advice I could give is to find a venue that has a feel good feeling as soon as you walk in! When we first met with Nancie you could tell they have so much pride in what they do! they have an answer for every question and have made this such an easy going GREAT experience. and try and get as much done as soon as you can! its never too early to have things ready.
