Best of 2021: Photojournalistic wedding moments London Ontario

To kick off the new year I’m continuing the tradition of putting together a series of blogs showing some of my favourite photographs the Woodgate Photography team captured in 2021 of Photojournalistic wedding moments London Ontario.

In 2021 Clara and I did a mentorship with an amazing west coast photographer and we used some of the skills we learnt to capture even better Photojournalistic wedding moments London Ontario than we have before. These shots make up the majority of the photographs in the day, so it is important that they get showcased on the blog too. The thing with moments is that they are so personal and so individual to each wedding that they will make sense more when seen in the context of the entire wedding (which I usually blog around the couple’s 1st anniversary). As I said in the Wedding Parties blog, this past year, just like 2020, the year was extremely different, for weddings in particular. The one thing that hindered getting as many amazing candid shots was masks, and for that reason I am hopeful that the weddings we have booked this year will be mostly maskless!

We had the pleasure of photographing in a variety of locations throughout South Western Ontario. We don’t limit how many images we edit for our clients, just however many tell the story of the day. Our editing style gives punchy true-to-life colours, and our clients also receive a selection in different tones including black and white. You will see a mix of those shots in the slideshow below, and come back next week for the another sweet best of blog- pet photography.
