Port Burwell Provincial Park Engagement Session
Jess and I had worked together before and I was so happy when she contacted me for their wedding and engagement photography. Nick is such a nice guy and we had so much fun at the Port Burwell Provincial Park Engagement Session, perhaps a little too much fun with 2 bottles of champagne. I can’t wait for their wedding tomorrow!
- It was the night of our work Christmas party November 18 2017. We both work for the same company but in different cities Jessica in London and Nick in Hamilton. This year our work had went through some changes and they decided to have all of our locations come down to the London Music Hall for dinner and dancing! We had never met face to face and didn’t know anything about one and other except Nick would always take product from Jess’s orders. Nick being his social self after dinner ( and a few beers maybe) came over and introduced himself by asking ” are you MOOJES ” our log ins at work are the first three letters of both of your first and last name… As the night went on a small group of us went to Poachers Arms downtown London. When Nick was trying to put his coat on he asked how to get back to his hotel …. Jessica living in my whole life had absolutely no idea ( and still doesn’t ) but sent him on his way! The following weeks we continued to get to know each other. The long and short of the story is that we both weren’t looking to find each other but this just goes to show everything happens for a reason.
- jess- I don’t really remember my first thoughts on seeing Nick, Other than he was very social and outgoing! Nick- I suck with words but it was a feeling I’ve never had with anyone. Instant connection and we both weren’t looking so we were kind of awkward but we both knew something was there.
- We were moving from Brantford to Hamilton and taking car loads back and fourth. Nick on the trip back said he had to stop at his parents and would meet me back in Brantford little did I know he was going to look at rings. He picked mine out and raced it back to his parents and then back to Brantford to meet me at home sense. I was clueless…. a hard thing to achieve as nicks an awful fibber and I normally pick up on things but he pulled it off. fast forward a few weeks and i was starting a job in Burlington. After my first day of work Nick called me to ask how my day was .. not out of usual however i dismissed him quickly as i needed to see the GPS to get home in our new city! he called back about a few minutes later to make sure I was in a good mood. a strange phone call for sure but it made sense when i walked in the door and saw Nick in a button up nice shit with flowers and a very nervous speech! Jess also forgotten to mention a few months earlier we had 2 weeks off in the summer. 1 week with my parents in suable beach. the next week in parry sound with hers. Its near impossible to get her dad by himself but I got him alone and got the blessing . I had a fit bit on and my heart rate was 115 . He was very happy and i had to hide the excitement from jess. Very hard!!
- the week we spent in Jamaica ! little did we know at the time that would be our first and last vacation for awhile . We have so many memories. i couldn’t pin point one as it seems like when we go grocery shopping its a fun memory as we laugh and just have fun
- I love Nicks positive energy, the fact that he is my biggest fan he always supports my feelings if I’m happy he’s happy if I’m mad / upset watch out! Nicks a morning person … I however am not and when my six (yes 6) alarms go off each morning he is always happy trying to make me laugh or being goofy in some sort of way to make sure my day starts well. Nick is my very best friend. I love jess outlook on life. She is always giving me complements. I have hard work days and I’m pretty much the complaint department so i get down some days and she once told me your having a bad moment not a bad day. Love that saying. I love the fact that we always have fun with everything we do. We both love the same things. We don’t need to ask do you want this or that we know each other. I love the way she smiles when i kiss her. Ilove the way she light sup my day.
- As a true reflection of us! We are so excited to have just our closest friends and family join us on our day. How happy we are. We are honestly always laughing having fun. Nothing but smiles !
- I hope to make a gallery wall with a mix of both our engagement and wedding photos in our living room. I’m sure they are also going to hang in our parents houses. Everywhere lol!!
- Past experience and … Have you seen our engagement pictures ….. Erin’s the best! Jess made the pick. I’ve never done photos and was super nervous in our engagement shoot but I then loosed up and ready for our big day! Thanks for making it easy for us!
