I knew how chill and down to earth Lauren & Aaron were from their engagement session we photographed at Gibbons Park. They had the perfect personalities for a winter Strathroy Wedding Photography wedding. We were super lucky though and got snow on the ground! The day started with me photographing the girls getting ready at her moms house. I loved capturing all their detail shots and Kayla photographing all of the dapper guys getting ready.
We headed to All Saints Parish for their ceremony which was a pleasure to photograph and then to Lauren’s family farm for family and wedding party photographs. It was a very cold day so having the barn to run to to warm up in and then go back outside was wonderful!
The reception was held at Caradoc Sands, where Lauren worked. I really love photographing at this venue. The couple went straight into their first dance which produced some of my favorite shots. We then captured all the emotional moments of the speeches, through to the candid enjoying their guests company and fun times on the dancefloor. We didn’t know then that it would be the last big dancefloor we would have the chance to photograph for a long time! After some night photos we captured the last formality- the bouquet toss!
