Texas Longhorn Ranch Wedding Strathroy
It was such a pleasure to photograph Janelle and Glen’s big day. It started with getting ready photographs with Janelle and the bridesmaids- just loved the different dresses in the same colour palette. Her dog was the most perfect photo dog I think I’ve ever had the change to photograph at a wedding, so chill! Their intimate ceremony was at St Patrick’s church in Lucan, where we did some photographs then their reception was at a gorgeous venue- Texas Longhorn Ranch Wedding in Strathroy, this was the first wedding I photographed there and the bruch food they had was wonderful. There were so many great places for photographs after their reception including photographs with a horse.
- We met at the nursing games in Toronto. We were from different schools but neither school had enough people for a team together so we were teammates on a combined team.
- Glen: I thought she was beautiful and I was hoping she was single Janelle: I thought he was nice and had flippy hair. thanks
- Glen surprised me with ring shopping in September with his mom and sister to ‘see what I liked’ then around Christmas time when I was joking that if he took more time to propose I might just have to do it he let it slip that he had the ring and it had “almost happened last weekend.” He then went on to wait another 3 weeks and asked in front of the fireplace at my parents cottage while we were in our housecoats hanging out with the dog. Half way through his romantic speech I was crying and asked “are you proposing?!” (He had not pulled out the ring yet) and he said “yes, let me finish”
- Glen: Building blanket forts together in your old student house in the summer in St. Catharines Janelle: When Glen surprised me with homemade eggplant parmesan all dressed up with flowers after a long drive to Ottawa to visit
