Lately I’ve been sharing some emails that I receive from clients when they receive their photos, I always love opening it up and seeing those magic words- “Those are really nice photos that captured such a great moment that I will cherish forever.”- Julie (the bride)

• Tell us the story of how the two of you met.
  “Peter and I had our first date at Palasad. We ate pizza played pool. I was sure I wanted a second date with him, and after that I pretty much knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I had to play it cool though, as to not freak him out. But I definitely saw qualities in him that I knew were special and I didn’t want to let him go. ” Julie “We played pool and we both sucked. I was nervous at the end because I didn’t know if I was supposed to hug or kiss her.” Peter ‘I felt the same at the end. We gave each other a hug. I remember him being so tall. I also remember his crazy over sized ski jacket. I thought it was weird….I still do lol.” Julie “It’s not weird, I like my jacket. It’s warm.” Peter
• What were your first thoughts on seeing each other?
  “My first thoughts when I met Peter were, he is tall, handsome, and has a sweet smile. ” Julie “I always loved her smile and her eyes.” Peter
• Tell me the proposal story (the long version is fine)
  “My proposal took place on the beach in Port Stanley. Peter was really shy and managed to propose on a crowed beach without drawing any attention from nearby beach goers. He got down on one knee and said, “Will you marry me?” I had been expecting the proposal, as we had been talking about getting married and had picked out the ring together a few weeks prior. I am in love with my ring and can’t stop looking at it. I am excited to marry Peter and start a family together.” Julie
• What is your favourite memory together (other than those mentioned above)?
  “Peter and I shared a trip to Cedar Point together a couple of summers ago and that was when we first said “I love you”. I really enjoyed that trip together and it was a big milestone for our relationship.” Julie
• What do you love most about each other?
  “I love that Peter is easy to talk to, honest and respectful. He loves me for me and tells me I’m beautiful all the time. He takes care of me and does anything to make me happy.” Julie “I love when I come home and she is so happy to see me. I also love how she is so good with kids. It shows me that she will be a good mother, for when we have kids.” Peter
• How do you hope your friends and family see your wedding?
  “I look forward to our wedding as being a time for our family and friends to come together and enjoy the moment with one another. I want them to look back on our wedding and remember all the wonderful memories that took place. When I think of weddings, I think of the bonding opportunities for families and friends. What a great time for people to share their love for one another, to welcome new people into their family and to show the people they care about just how much they mean to them. I want my family and friends to see my wedding as a fun celebration that is full of love, laughs and good times to be remembered for years to come. ” Julie
• Have you thought of anywhere in your house you would like to hang your wedding photographs?
  “There is a spot on our wall in the rec room that would be ideal for hanging photos of our wedding. Peter currently has some framed photos of airplanes he once worked on, hanging in that spot. I told him that spot is prime real estate in terms of wall displays and have suggested we move the photos of airplanes to make room for family ones.” Julie 😛
• Why did you choose us?
  “I heard about you through a co-worker of my mother’s. She said that she was very happy with your service and that you went out of your way to make her experience the best it could be. I researched you by reading through your website. I got the vibe that you really care about your clients and that you have a passion for this. I also appreciated that you pride yourselves on capturing true emotions. When I read that you don’t care to “fake” photographs such as the cutting of the cake, I knew you were the one for us. I was reassured after our first meeting. I had a great impression about you and was excited to book you for our wedding!” Julie
