St Pauls Cathedral London Ontario Wedding
Looking back through Alex and Tyler’s wedding photos brought back so many memories for me- I had met Alex at a bridal show where she was one of the exhibitors, she contacted me when I was out in Halifax just before my wedding when she had some trouble with the photographer that she had booked and I am so glad that I was able to capture their day for them, especially with the groom and his whole side being from South Carolina so try and imagine this blog being read to you in their amazing southern drawl..
There are some seriously sweet photos below showing when Tyler’s mom gave him a special gift, the emotional moment when Alex saw her beloved dog’s collar on her bouquet- a surprise from her family. I loved all the small details like the shot gun shells on the boutineers and that Alex’s veil was made from parts of her Mom’s. Many emotional moments including first look with dad, Tyler tearing up as she walked up the aisle, brother singing (amazingly) at the ceremony and a speech by a groomsman that didn’t leave a dry eye in the whole venue, mine included- which is rare, I only cried once at my own wedding! As many emotional moments as there were, there were fun moments including not one but two motorboats, recreating her parents photograph from their wedding at St Pauls Cathedral London Ontario Wedding, saying hello to the cows at Purple Hill Country Hall (especially meaningful because I believe they met working on a ranch), they tore up the dancefloor for their first dance fun bouquet and garter too- the garter was twine just adding to the whole country feel and even had a clear enough night to get some star photos..
