Ivey Spencer Wedding Photography

To follow up from Dave and Kim’s fall engagement session post earlier in the week, I’m happy to post their wonderful winter wedding from a year ago this week! (Just look at how much snow was around then compared to now!) It’s amazing to think that I met Dave through couchsurfing when I very first moved to London and after keeping in touch through the power of facebook and random couchsurfing meet ups I was given the pleasure of capturing their lovely wedding day!

The day began with me arriving to photograph the girls getting ready, I would like to say bright and early but it was more like foggy and early! The hair and makeup artists did a wonderful job enhancing the brides natural beauty and I loved capturing the details and the candid moments along the way. Clara was the second shooter and she captured the guys getting ready, funky socks and all. We headed for the church and it was a beautiful union of the two families. After some photographs taken at the church and on the Ivey Spencer grounds was a lovely lunch-reception with fun games and emotional speeches. After they had farewelled their guests we snuck off for a few last shots with the wonderful new Mr & Mrs.
